KNOW JESUS

There is only ONE WAY to Heaven from wherever you are and that WAY to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever would believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

If you died right now, do you know for sure you would go to Heaven,
or would there be some doubt in your mind?

I John 5:13, "I write this to you who believe in (trust in and rely on) the name of the Son of God, so that you may know with settled and absolute knowledge that you already have eternal life."

How can you know that you have eternal life?

First, you need to know that we all have sinned.

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives."

Second, you need to know that your sin brings death.

Romans 5:12, "Therefore, as sin came into the world through one man, and death as the result of sin, so death spread to all men, [no one being able to stop it or to escape its power] because all men sinned."

The penalty of sin is spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God forever.

Romans 6:23a, "For the wages which sin pays is death; ..."
Rev. 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God), and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed), shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Third, you need to know that God has provided only one way to escape sin's wages.

John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life;
no one comes to the Father except through Me."
Romans 5:8, "But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us,
that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 6:23b, "but the [free] gift of God is eternal life through
(in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord."

Can you really afford to put this off any longer? Don't you think it's time to call on the Lord and receive His free gift of salvation? You can do it right now.

Repeat this simple prayer from your heart to God, receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and my sins deserve death, but I believe that your dying on the cross paid the price for all my sins. You are the Son of God! I now receive the gift of life found only in your death and embrace the chance you've given me to live for you. Thank you for dying for me and forgiving my sin. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen.
