THE BLUEPRINT

13Bretheren, I count not myself to have apprehended:
but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are
behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus. 15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:
and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this
unto you. 16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us
walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
Philippians 3:13-16

In calling this ministry into existence, God has specifically given us a mandate to adhere to and follow the original blueprint of the New Testament Church. To fulfill this, we must seek to know, show and grow with Christ. God has called every believer to this purposeful relationship and the church is one of the places where that relationship can be established, nurtured, strengthened and celebrated!

The Apostle Paul encourages us to press toward the mark or objective of a real relationship with Christ. In making relationship and not religion our prize, we are invariably taken to a higher place in God.

We as a congregation and a family of believers, must be thus minded. We hope that your "Upper Room" experience persuades you to pursue a deeper, more intimate relationship with God! Millions have come before us who were better equipped, and more established than we are (at the moment), but lack of focus and maturity to stay after the PRIZE caused them to miss it! We purpose to learn from these mistakes and faithfully seek the Will of God for this part of the vineyard.
